Meeting was held at BIll Lefley barn

1.  Bill Lefley called the meeting to order.

2.  The board of directors was introduced.

Present - Bill Lefley, Gail Zandstra, Michael O’Connor, Joe Milaukas, Mike Finn, Mimi Harris,  Herk VandenBosch, Mike Flynn, Steve McKown, Dave Bernat.  Excused - Kathy Sarkisian, Tammy Cunnion 

3.  The June 25, 2022, annual meeting minutes were approved.

4.   The new treasurer is David Bernat.  The treasury balance is $10,538.79.

A new account has been set up at Macatawa Bank with credit card capability. 

The treasurer's report was approved.

5.   Marketing and Website -  The DLSA directory will now be online.  It is password protected for members only.  The password is Beachsand.  Ann Dooley will head up the website moving forward.    

6.   Membership  -  135 paid members as of this date.     

7.   Social - Michael O’Connor gave an update for the social calendar.   

8.   Road, Beach Water - Joe Milaukas gave an overview of the Great Lakes Coalition.  Private property signs are available for $50.00 to $60.00.  Sign up required.      

9.    Four board member positions are up for election.  The three incumbent members elected were:  Tammy Cunnion, Mike Finn, Michael O’Connor.  Ann Dooley was elected as a new candidate.   Motion was passed to bring them on the board.  Herk VandenBosch retired.

10.  New Business  -  Dan Callum was the speaker for the evening from the Outdoor Discovery Network regarding the Kalamazoo Greenway Project.    

 11.  The meeting was adjourned for dinner and entertainment.
